As a shareholder, you own a fraction of the company's equity capital. This gives you certain rights with regard to CNP:
A financial right
You receive a dividend. This represents the share of the company's profits available for distribution and paid to shareholders. The amount of the dividend is decided by the Annual General Meeting (AGM) following recommendation from the Supervisory Board.
A right to participate in the life of the company
You have a number of voting rights corresponding to the number of shares you hold. You can exercise your rights by participating in shareholders' meetings.

In addition, in the run-up to the AGM, you may at any time, in accordance with the relevant legal obligations, consult the documents relating to the last three financial years and shareholders' meetings held during that period, at CNP's head office. Before each AGM you can read the documents which will give you information on the meeting's agenda.
