Long-standing shareholders
CNP Assurances was created in 1959 as a unit of Caisse des Dépôts et Consigations, through the merger of two national insurance funds - Caisse Nationale d’Assurance en cas d’Accident and Caisse Nationale d'Assurance sur la Vie.
Listed on the first market of the Paris Bourse since October 1998, CNP Assurances is backed by a core group of four major shareholders united by a shareholders’ agreement.
